Make Noise says Minister Griffith

Youth and community groups across the island are being encouraged to be more vocal.

The encouragement came from Minister with responsibility for Youth and Community Empowerment, the Hon. Charles Griffith, who bemoaned not hearing enough “noise” for assistance from these entities to the Ministry. Mr. Griffith noted that only when the voices, through requests, from the over 150 youth and community groups across Barbados are received,  then he can make a case to the Ministry of Finance for the resources to meet their demands.

Minister Griffith made the comments at a Youth and Community Training Capacity Building Workshop titled, Project F.I.R.M. at the Wildey Gymnasium on Saturday, February 18th, 2023. The one-day workshop was held in collaboration with Barbados Youth Development Council.
