National Summer Camp Programme 2026: Registration Now Open!
The Division of Youth Affairs, Prime Minister’s Office, is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the National Summer Camp Programme 2026, running from July 13 to August 21, 2026.
The programme offers a wide range of engaging and educational experiences designed to help children and young people develop new skills, build confidence, make friends and enjoy a productive summer.
Camper Registration
Parents and guardians can register children for the following programmes:
General Camp (Mixed)
For children aged 4–15, featuring activities such as:
- Agriculture
- Tours
- Life Skills
- Sports
- Financial Literacy
- Entrepreneurship
- Creative Arts & Culture
- Personal Development

Tropical Trails and Tales Science Camp (ages 12-15)
An exciting hands-on programme designed to spark curiosity, creativity and innovation through science-based activities and experiments.

YES Experience Enterprise Summer Camp (Ages 13–17)
Develop valuable life and career skills through entrepreneurship, leadership, business planning, time management and team-building in an engaging, hands-on environment.
Venue: Springer Memorial School, Government Hill, St. Michael
Dates: July 20 – August 21, 2026 | Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Includes: Lunch, educational tours and an official camp T-shirt.
Registration closes Friday, July 17, 2026.

Cultural Arts & Digital Media Camps
Specialised programmes that provide opportunities for young people to develop creative and technical skills through activities such as:
- Woodwork
- Stilt Walking

- African Studies
- Digital Media (ages 11-15)

Volunteer Opportunities
We are also seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support camps across Barbados. All volunteer registrations close on June 29th, 2026.
Camp Directors & Assistant Camp Directors
Lead, coordinate and support the day-to-day management of camp operations.
Camp Assistants
Assist with activities, supervision and the delivery of the camp programme.
Eligibility:
- Must be 17 years or older
- Loves working with children and teens
- Enjoys being part of a team
- Willingness to learn and share skills
- Can attend pre–camp training
- Be available July 13th to August 21st, 2026
Cultural Arts Camp Assistants
Support specialised cultural arts activities and share skills in areas such as dance, drama, music, visual arts, crafts and related disciplines.
Eligibility:
- Must be 17 years or older
- Comfortable working with campers 4 to 15 years old
- Involved in the visual and performing arts
- Willingness to teach and share skills
- Can attend pre-camp training
- Be available July 13th to August 21st, 2026
