Calling All Volunteers: Join the National Summer Camp Programme 2025!
The time is near! Summer is just around the corner, bringing with it the excitement of the Division of Youth Affairs’ National Summer Camp Programme (NSCP) under the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Community Empowerment. This year, the camp will run from July 21st to August 22nd, 2025, and none of this would be possible without the support of dedicated volunteers. If you’re passionate about making a difference in your community, we’re looking for you!
Why Volunteer with Us?
We are seeking individuals aged 16 or older who are eager to learn and share skills, love working with children, and can collaborate effectively in groups. This is a fantastic opportunity to discover new skills and interests, enhance your communication and teamwork abilities, build connections, and earn Give Back and community service hours. Remember to clear your schedule for pre-camp training!
What Positions Are Available?
We have three volunteer roles available to suit different skills and interests:
Camp Directors: Oversee daily activities, lead group games, and ensure campers’ safety and well-being while designing and implementing a daily curriculum.
Camp Assistants: Interact with children daily, record experiences, and maintain a positive, nurturing environment.
Assistant Camp Directors: Assist the Camp Director with all daily camp functions, supervise and ensure the campers’ safety and well-being, and effectively plan and execute daily activities.
