About The National Summer Camp Programme
The National Summer Camp Programme is an initiative hosted by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment from July to August annually and held at community venues and schools across Barbados.
The acronym CAMP in the National Summer Camps Programme means:
- C – Creativity
- A- Achieving
- M- Meaningful
- P- Progress
The camps encompass a multi-activity programme in addition to several specialised camps in entrepreneurship, through the YES Experience Enterprise, the art of filmmaking, through the Next Steps Training Initiative Digital Media and Film, Cultural Summer Arts Programmes and two Special Needs Summer Programmes.

Completed forms should be emailed to YDP@barbados.gov.bb.
