Driven by our motto “From Idea to Enterprise”, the Youth Entrepreneurial Scheme (YES) seeks to inculcate an entrepreneurial culture among the youth of Barbados. Additionally, it aims to promote growth, innovation, productivity, revenue generation and wealth creation through the delivery of a suite of specialised business development services.

YES endeavours to be “the centre of excellence for entrepreneurial development” by empowering and equipping youth with the competence to promote youth entrepreneurial growth and development. These cutting-edge interventions are designed to establish new businesses and expand existing ventures, create and retain jobs, increase revenue generation through domestic and export sales and expose young people to the rudiments of entrepreneurship as a viable career path.

Furthermore, the YES team provides critical one-on-one counselling to its clients ensuring that an environment of trust and respect is established, paving the way for a harmonious officer-client relationship as we strive to instil the mantra to “Create, Innovate and Make It Happen”.
