Greetings from the Employability Unit!

The Pathways Employability Programme is one of the many exciting pathways for young
people to pursue employment opportunities. With its heavy focus on personal and soft skills development, this programme creates a dynamic space for young persons seeking work experience and those needing work readiness training to experience such.

Our cadre of well-trained facilitators, counsellors and HR professionals lend critical support to the employability process. Additionally, we reach out to employers across diverse sectors in order to create a meaningful work experience that meets the needs of young people. Within the unit, we also facilitate the Ministry’s partnership Prince’s Trust ‘Get Hired’ and ‘Get Into’ programmes which are also employment-focused initiatives that match young people who are  ‘work ready’ with ready-to-hire employers. Even though employment is not guaranteed, one can rest assured that with the right attitude and commitment, it will be forthcoming in the future.
