The Youth Development Programme is a programming channel of the Division of Youth Affairs, designed to engage and empower youth between the ages of nine to 29 within communities, across Barbados.

YDP is committed to creating conditions for young people that support their role and active participation in society as responsible citizens and key stakeholders in their future.  Specific efforts are targeted towards strengthening skills, building capacities, encouraging innovative ideas and providing opportunities and platforms for all youth voices to be heard and included in their development. Our vision is to see youth reach their fullest potential and improve their quality of life.

YDP has a team of professionals assigned to different districts across Barbados ready to facilitate the needs of individuals and groups. We look forward to serving you.
