National Summer Camps 2021 are on!
Hello parents and guardians, its National Summer time! This year we will be hosting the National Summer Camps and Programmes from August 4th to September 3rd, 2021. The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment is offering a range of safe spaces for summer, of supervised interactive camp programmes for Barbadian children and youth.
In addition to our thirty-five (35) general multi-activity camp programmes in communities across Barbados, we will also be delivering five (5) specialised Summer Arts programmes, the YES entrepreneurship Summer Experience programme and the Community Development Department’s ITS for Teens Computer Technology Summer programme.
Parents please note space is limited as we are following the COVID-19 protocols to ensure the safety of everyone.
Again, we extend a special invitation and welcome to volunteers, as our programmes are also about building the capacity and competencies of young people and all community members. We believe in teamwork, sharing skills, experiences and giving back to our society and if you share in this, then join us for a fulfilling summer experience in 2021. All COVID-19 protocols will be strictly adhered to.
We encourage you to like and follow us on Facebook @divisionofyouthaffairs and Instagram @divyouth246. You can also call us at (246) 535-3835.
Enjoy your summer and be safe!
